I have been going back to old ways and not writing in here for ages and ages and ages.
so here we go.
im sure that this is woefully insufficient for the amount of time i havnt posted but oh well there we go!!!!

errrm
i finally got to watch some real tv the other night lol which was a first for a while it was only really boring late night bbc news.. but still!!!! then i had to watchi it on repeat untill the bitesize thing came on as james fell asleep on me and the tv has no remote. hmf.
went to the BM unnessecarily for archaeology, which was kinda fun, tho jeff and god (thats his nickname, and now ive forgotton his real name, so apologies for the blasphemy lol) and I went around it in double quick time so we didnt really see anythign in ghreat detail but oh well, we got to see a lot of it lol. you cant see the British Museum in 3 hours, it dosnt work. and everything in their cafes is REALLY expensive.
innocent smoothie: usually about £1.75 - £2.00 in the BM - £2.40
thats a 1/4 profit they are making... on top of everyone elses profit!!!! ok so they are a charity (i think, not sure) relying on donations (i think) and gift shop sales etc etc etc and they will have massive conservation costs etc etc etc. HOWEVER bloody hell dudes, chop a few pence off stuff!!!
another scary thing that happend was that 2 schoolboys in blazers etc (looked well posh) held open a pair of doors for us 3 to go through........ which terrified us all slightly! we muttered thanks then scrammed.
PARTY to go to a week on saturday!!! it is S themed, (as it is sarahs party) so I think I might go as a sprite. as thats fun. tho i may need fairy wings and a spritly top. :D
ooh and i was bad and ordered the DVD of adam adamant off amazon yesterday...... squee! hehehe ^_^
hmm need to do more christmas shopping.
i feel a little sad. (and it feels squishy lol but anyway, sillieness aside...) tis probably just being up at half 4 in the morning and wanting to actually be useful tommorow. grr. want sleep. hmf.
i cant see effin till i get home :( this makes me sad due to missing him.
it also makes me annoyed at richard for fucking around with the date of the party. |

went out with fish and AJ and james and tim which was fun, we all got a little drunk. James hurt tims wrist, but rumours of james beating tim up are totally unfounded. apparantly its cos james normally drinks with ninjas, so he dosnt think hes doing anything. we managed to get them (james and tim) to go in the end after coming back here for sandwiches!
[edit: oh! and we met wayne, which was quite fun azs we hadnt seen him for ages and ages!!!]
then this morning, james woke me up by coming in to write a note for tats as he came to pick her up for church but she wasnt here... so he had walked all the way over here for nothing. so now i am awake on a sunday morning, which is just all wrong. |

halloween
i never got into the habit of halloween when little due to no-one to go trick-or-treating with (lizzy wasnt allowed) and when i did have people, i felt too old to do it. and now i cant.... its one of those things one has to practice i think.

today one of my lectures was not a lecture at all, but a cunning plan. Tom James took us all out on a walk to talk about his book for ages lol! it was mildly interesting, as he said some differnt things to that graham scobie bloke the other night. and i went to the east end of town which i had been meaning to do for a while, and so will do again and go down more riveryness. woo. and there is a tiny weeny bit of the roman wall left. its like a metre long and ita ALL that is left. silly things.
i dont think anything else has happened.

did you know you can get pretend mars bars from asdas called something like a caramel chew something-or-other i was most surprised when i ate one and it was just like a mars bar lol! they probably arnt at all and any fans of mars bars will be appalled that i thought of such a thing.
I have apple bits struck between my teeth too which is un-good.

I went up a big hill today and found a very old church/hospital/monastary thing. It was fun. dunno what im doing tonight, but hopefully whatever it is will be fun :D
the hill was st. catherines hill and its a hill fort and HUGE - in tallness and steepness mainly but also general size. it has a lot of steps and trees on the top and an amazing view of winchester where i could see pretty much everything including the university... i could actually see which bits were which, like the library and the main building etc.

i did my directed task on bibliograohy... now all the remains is the 2000 word essay (thought it was 3000 words, thank goodness it isnt!) on the effects of the black death..... wooness.... lol
last night was fun woo, went to tims house with james. tim wasnt there but other people i know were. played some sort of possibly halo thing on xbox... but thats been mentioned.
james balenced on a chair... hes a bloody acrobat that one, but he has dextrous toes like me! woo.
strawberry alcholness and coke is very nice!
what am i meant to do when i have have nothing to do at uni? if i was at home there is a sorta set i-have-nothing-much-to-do routine... but here there isnt which makes it more boring. tho i might go climb that hill tommorow, as i havnt yet and it would be better to do it when fish and nat arnt here so im not randomly abandoning them. I might tonight actually, cos i dont have to be back for anything in particular, and i might get up there for sunset.... oooh thats tempting! yes..... may do that.
damn i think theres a headache lurking.......

fish and nat have fucked off to wales till sunday night so im stuck on my larry lonesome till then..... i have got work i need to do and in many ways its good cos i know ill end up doing it if im really bored lol. oh and my room will end up tidy.
met james in the food hall again, he talked to me as i was eating on my own (see above). I mentioned hhgg. this is bad as ive only properly known him about 2/3 days and that is the 3rd time i have. i thought i was over the obsession O_O oh nooooooooooooo its back. grarg.
arch soc tour thing on tues night, we have to be covert as ninjas because they are letting evan come on it and they are not meant to lol :D
i must find someone with a TV (that is nearby) by the time doctor who / torchwood is on so i can see them. |

i have made lots of new friends YAAAAAY for that. and know some people who ive known for longer, a bit better, eg fishicle and cat.

today i went into dgs with my jacket and came home without it.
it is green, thin material, with painted designs on it in black with dots of red and blue. it has a zip up the front and a hood.
.... I really want to find it!
i have no idea where it is, but one contender is the new dgs common room....
other possible places being the tappins shuttle bus between the schools (if u see it as lost property, please get it for me!), that nature reserve place near the didcot end of the embankment and a bridge over a stream near upton...
I think I lost it at some point on the way home, but I really dont know...

just watching QI. love that programme, i almost laughed until i was sick. twice. its THAT good!
I have just discovered a band named "The Strange Death Of Liberal England" while reminding myself what the dangerfield thesis is. (don't worry all you lovely As history people, ms Card will enlighten you!) ... they are alright i think, but TONIGHT (yes, like... right NOW as i type this, they are in london supporting Of Montreal.
